High Protein Vanilla Tofu Mousse
This recipe might sound unusual but I promise you, it works and it’s delicous! Perfect for breakfast, dessert or a post workout meal.

Who would’ve thought that tofu could be this thick sweet delicious dessert! It’s perfect for breakfast, as a snack or a post work out meal as its packed with protein.
The nutritional info on this recipe will vary depending on your tofu, plant protein and toppings of choice.
- 160 g semi firm tofu
- 1 serving vanilla plant protein powder (I used the OWYN brand here)
- a few drops of vanilla stevia
or use 1/2 tbsp Maple Syrup and some Vanilla Extract
- 2 tbsp – 1/4 cup plant milk of choice
- chia seeds
- cacao nibs
- fruits of choice I used some berries & figs but any fruit will be as delicious
- almond butter

Step by Step Instructions
In a blender of small food processor, add in the semi firm tofu, plant protein powder, stevia or sweetener of choice and vanilla extract if using along with 2 Tbsp of plant milk.
Then blend until smooth and creamy. If you want a runnier consistency, simply add in some more plant milk, and less if you want it thicker. Taste test and adjust sweetness according to your liking.
Place into a serving bowl and it’s time to add the toppings! BE CREATIVE! Use your favorite fruits. Bananas, mangoes, berries, papayas all work really well here.
Finally add a crunch, like cacao nibs or granola. And finally some nut butter. But all of this is of course optional! Use anything you prefer and make it your own. 🙂
